Chris Cagle seems like musical equivalent of the guy who comes when the party's over, but still keeps dancing.
Just when I think the rural-pride anthems are over, Cagle comes out with one in the same vein of many others released in the past few years.
Basically the same old, over used, clichéd lyrics against a needlessly aggresive, loud production.
The thing I like most about Chris Cagle is his confident, believable performances. It was the one thing that kept me from hating "Got My Country On". But "Cowgirls" even lacks that.
Despite how flawed this lame single is, it has entered the top 20 and looks destined for top 10 at the very least.
Smarten up Chris.
